German Pouch Pack Technology: much sought after in the world

„Made in Germany“ is still a strong argument around the world,” CEO Olaf Clemens sums up SN’s participation in different trade shows this fall.

From beverages to cheese and seeds – innovative technologies and individually designed machine concepts in combination with great reliability and a long life cycle were convincing arguments for professionals from Nuremberg to Chicago.

37.000 visitors attended the FachPack in Nuremberg during the three-day exhibition late September. In Poland the Taropak attracted 44.600 visitors and 18.700 people travelled to the Macropak show in the Netherlands.

Consequently, in Europe alone more than 100.000 professionals had the chance to experience SN’s strong innovations “made in Germany” personally.

At the largest trade show for packaging machines in the USA, Pack Expo in Chicago, SN presented its new FM300 whose life performance attracted a great professional audience. The capacity of this pouch-packaging machine is remarkable: with 180 pouches á 200 g of ground cheese per minute, or 80 large pouches á 2.500 g of ground cheese per minute, SN creates a benchmark for the industry once again.

During the trade shows many new contacts with potential business partners could be made and SN’s overall results have been very positive; current order books are well filled and the prospects for 2013 are excellent. The enthusiastic response to the trade shows this fall has shown that SN’s customized machine concepts of highest standard are the way to go for reducing pouch costs radically.
