A pouch packaging machine for tasty chocolate snacks
In early 2016 SN Maschinenbau GmbH delivered a horizontal form fill & seal duplex pouch packaging machine to the manufacturer of America`s most beloved chocolate covered snacks.
After successful start-up of the FBM 22 the customer produces 140 stand-up pouches per minute which are easily reclosable by a zipper.
Up to 7,5 oz (215 grams) of delicious chocolate pretzels are filled by a multi head scale and safely sealed by a swiveling top sealing device that allows generous access for cleaning and maintenance.
Packed in a perfect pouch the new product was successfully launched to the US market in May of this year.
The duplex models of the FBM 22 pouch packaging machine series are able to produce pouches up to a width of 190 mm. The packaging machine execution varies according to the product to be packed. Options like wash-down execution, gas flush or ultrasonic sealing can be added easily.
